So - there is a brief interlude before Egypt, namely, Wadi Rum.
But now, let's get to Cairo ...
...where we saw the pyramids at Giza (doesn't everyone?)

and got engaged (not so common).
Later, we went to the cafes
and saw the Sufi dancers
before we went into the desert
(those Japanese can't be held back!)
and sat by the fire.
before we took the felucca down the Nile
and stayed stoned for 3 days.
(yes - it was that funny!)
After catching our breath, we saw a few ruins

Abydos
looked thru doorways
and went to the station

to ride 3rd class
back north to Alexandria
where the market bargaining is still fierce
and there you have it - another album!
